April is National Poetry Month. MAGNET is joining the “30 Poems in 30 Days” campaign with the TIP Project: "Themes of Transsexualism & Intersex Poetry" to elevate our efforts to educate, use artwork to highlight our truths & to counter the misgendering & miseducation about transsexualism & intersex issues propagated by transgenderism/gender queer ideology & Gay Inc. Every day for the rest of this month we will publish new poems from people born with transsexualism and/or intersex. I am a woman.
period.
not a sub-woman, not a third gender, not transgender umbrella propagada.
I am a woman.
from the beginning.
not a hobby, not a lifestyle, not a choice, not a political bargaining chip.
I am a woman.
always.
not just on the weekends, not for drag work, not for Halloween.
I am a woman.
in my mind, heart and soul.
not just in clothes, not just on the outside, not for kicks.
I am woman.
I am a rose.
I am light.
I am she.
I am all woman
